    TALO Organization is a non-neither governmental, nor political and not profit making. The establishment of this organization emerged due to overall unstable situation in the country. TALO organization was founded 01/09/2004 by Somali intellectual group of committed members in Karan district which lies geographically in the eastern zone of the vast capital city of Mogadishu and have branches in Middle Shebelle region and Lower Shebelle region, Hiiran region Mudug region Galkacy, Bay and Bakool regions (Ceelbarde & Baidoa), Gedo Region (Garbaharey) of Somalia also TALO has a written vision and mission as well as prevention of the risk of HIV/AIDS and other diseases, which spread our community in Somalia,

    TALO provide humanitarian aid to the affected flood drought and prolong conflict for the IDP´s and vulnerable host-community, farmers and Pastoralists in the South and Central Somalia region, registered by Somalia Federal government local federal state authorities.

    Our Mission

    TALO strives to promote community and social services such as Humanitarian, Social Economic Development, Conflict and Peace resolution, Democracy and Human rights advocacy to attain sustainable lives for Somali communities and Prevention of HIV/AIDS communicable diseases to ensure community basic lives with respect of human rights tolerance and social values.

    Outreach HIV/Aids Awareness workshops and Training to the vulnerable communities including Youth Boys, Girls, religious leaders, traditional leaders, health workers, music’s, sports clubs, and all others susceptible people including IDP´s and some of minority people in Somalia.

    TALO improved water sanitation and hygiene, to the pastoralists’ famine conflict and drought affected in the project enhanced drilling two wells and construction two boreholes of water assisting local communities and 10 arisen.

    TALO Primary health care facilitates training phc, training laboratory, and free provision of medical care and supports to the vulnerable people, IDPs and host communities affected by famine drought and conflicts in somalia.

    TALO promotes Social Development such as job creation, Vocational skill training and empowering widowed, divorced mothers/women business initiators in small and medium microfinance projects.

    Our Objectives:

    • To improve food security for the vulnerable group, IDP’s, People living with hiv/aids (PLWA).
    • To increase treatment of moderate and uncomplicated severe acute malnutrition (OTP & SFP).
    • To promote health care facilities, and support treatment of common illnesses with provision of free medical.
    • To promote availability of water hygiene and sanitation to the vulnerable people´s.
    • Improve agricultural income for crops and livestock through encouragement of appropriate dry land and farming activities ensuring food security and reducing food aid-dependency to all levels of small scale farm holder in Somalia.
    • To rehabilitate existing public/private infrastructure better social economic development through cash for work activities and job creation opportunities.
